Invoice Processing Questions via Inbox User Interface#30

I’m constantly getting emails from the invoice processing team asking me to provide the GL account/department details for specific invoices and also asking me to add new vendors. It would be preferred if this could be handled in the inbox user interface instead of getting a bunch of emails. For example, if the invoice is for a vendor that is not in the system, if could be flagged as “vendor research”. Then when someone is processing the inbox they can investigate the vendor and add a new vendor if necessary.

Also, if the invoice processing team doesn’t know the GL account to use, then it would be preferred if they leave the GL account/department blank and then we can add that when we are processing the inbox. Then we will always have the full list of invoices in the inbox and we don’t have to worry about invoices not being added to the system because they are pending an email response.
